Many of you may know that I started learning pickup when I was in college. Man that seems like a long time ago. For me pickup was a revelation and, even though my game was pretty weak, I got results by sheer force of will. However, I did college game ALL WRONG at the time.
You see, I took the amazing social circle opportunity that is college, and reduced it to a convenient location for cold approach. This is what I would do if I could go back and do it all again:
There are basically a few critical things to realize.
- Warm approach is easier than cold approach.
- If you’re going to meet someone anyway, there’s no reason to do a try-hard open.
- If you’re going to see someone anyway there’s no reason to do an awkward close.
- Social proof is one of the most powerful forces in the universe.
