I also want to make a special announcement.
I’m actually going to be looking for a traveling intern really soon.
What is a traveling intern?
A traveling intern is somebody that comes along with the RSD instructor wherever they are going. Different cities across the world and they help them out. They help them on a bootcamp, they help them out on training, they help them out on setting up rooms, they help them out with video editing.
I’m actually going to be doing a Major world tour in 2017. The point is I’m looking for an Unpaid intern. A traveling intern. This is somebody who’s going to get a lot out of this.
So, what do you get out of being an intern for a RSD instructor?
Well, for starters you get to come along on bootcamps and programs, like Hotseat. The value and information that you get is…incredible. You actually get 1-on-1 exposure to these concepts that are kind of hard to internalize sometimes and just by being around an instructor so much, it becomes second nature. Being immersed into this lifestyle, immersed in this training atmosphere.
You learn a lot and it becomes part of who you are. Transforms you on a deep cellular level to being a different person when you get out of the role. It’s a high intensity kind of training environment.
What else do you get?
You get to be a part of the RSD crew. You get to meet all the people and hang with all the people you hear about. All the instructors, All the guys that are in our other crews that we hang out with. Being around all these people, you learn a lot. Not just about yourself but a lot about business, how do you make a product, how do you create a product, how do you position a product, how do you then release it. What goes into it.
What’s the amount of efforts that it takes. And also most importantly, you learn how to have great ideas but execute them as well in your own personal life. In the business if you have one or if you plan to have a business later on.
So what am I looking for?
I’m looking for somebody that is able to make a 3-6 month commitment.
I have 2 Canadian tours, 1 Australian tours, and 1 USA tour. All combined in this year, 2017.
I’m looking for someone who can make a 3-6 month commitment, at least for one of those countries or two of those countries are possible. This person should have video editing experience and have extensive amount of that. And you should have also photography experience. If you have worked with DSLR cameras.
When you make the application, what I want you to do is send an email to Vess@realsocialdynamics.com Send an email over there and include cover letter explaining what you hope to get out of this role. And also put a portfolio.
So, If you have a portfolio of photos that you’ve taken, include that. If you have a portfolio of video editing work or video recording that you’ve done, include that. That will very much help me make the decision. And then just a general resume about what your experience is and how old you are and things like that.
Keep in mind that this does not mean that you will become an instructor. I think like .5 % of the people that actually apply to be an instructor, become it. Even less than half of them make it through the training. It means that you will become an instructor assistant or a bootcamp instructor assistant which means that you are with me, working with me, seeing everything that I do, seeing how I think, how I develop things, seeing how these concepts are made, behind the scenes look, getting involved and also changing yourself.
So if you are interested here’s what i want you to do. Of course you are, but if you are here’s what I want you to do.
Send me an email at Vess@realsocialdynamics.com I’ll be going through them. Only the ones that have portfolios attached will be considered. In terms of your career, a lot of people that apply for these things have some sort of source of income that they either saved or that they have a job that they can work remotely, graphic designer, something like that. This is an unpaid internship, but depending on the level or the quality of the skills that the person that is applying for it, I would consider making it a paid internship.
I’ll look forward to your emails. Once we have gone through them for about of week or so we will then set up skype interview calls with people that are reasonable candidates and narrow it down.
